2D Animation Reel

Papel (2021)

Software Used: Clip Studio Paint, Maya. Rendered using RenderMan.

I was responsible for the 2D animation and coloring for the dad and rocket ship, as well as the 2D VFX. I was also storyboard lead and co-lead for 2D effects in general.

This short has now gotten into 17 film festivals, and has won a number of awards both in the US and abroad.

Through the Woods! (2021)

Software Used: Clip Studio Paint and Adobe Animate

I both designed and animated this project.

KnightTime Story (2022)

Software Used: Clip Studio Paint and Adobe Animate

I designed and illustrated the background of both shots in Clip Studio Paint. I also 2D animated the horse, water, and toy-knight flying, then splashing into the water.

This short has gotten into multiple film festivals.

Miriam LaVelle Rotoscope (2021)

Software Used: Photoshop and Nuke

Original footage was taken from Miriam LaVelle dancing in 'Seven Days Ashore' in 1944.

Her movement was rotoscoped, then replaced with hand-drawn 2D animation of an original character, which I designed.

I also cleaned the background, then composited in Nuke.
